2nd Floor Jermyn Street

Open Contracts was instructed by the CA Stewart Watson to refurbish the second floor of an office space on Jermyn Street in London.

The brief was to transform an outdated workspace into a modern and welcoming environment. The programme focused on reconfiguring the layout, upgrading the finishes and improving the overall environment while maximising the reuse of existing materials where possible.

Working closely with the Stewart Watson CA team, we carried out a full strip-out and refurbishment.

The project brief included:

  • Removal of existing partitions, ceilings, lighting and flooring.
  • Installation of a new partition layout to create a more effective and flexible workspace.
  • Reuse of existing glazed screens and doors where possible.
  • Installation of new energy-efficient lighting throughout the floor.
  • Installation of new ceiling systems and floor finishes to modernise the space.
  • Alterations to power and data services to support the revised layout.
  • Full redecoration to provide a fresh, professional finish.

An office space that works

The new layout improved functionality and flow, while upgraded lighting and finishes created an office space that offers a more comfortable and productive environment for the new occupiers.

By incorporating the reuse of existing glazing and doors, the project also delivered environmental benefits and demonstrated a commitment to sustainable refurbishment practices.
