We created a plug and play scheme through a complete refurbishment on the 3rd floor at The Clove Building, one that could be presented as a flexible working space ready to move into, but which also had the scope for the new occupiers to add their brand personality. To create this exciting plug and play scheme, we worked with the interior architects at BGY who have design various features that have in the centre people needs at work.

To realise this plug and play scheme we began by returning the floor to its original layout – stripping-out the old fixtures, fittings, and partitions. Next, we brought the M&E experts team and the fit-out team to start works on flooring, decorations, and joinery requirements. To achieve our client’s vision of a plug and play scheme we installed additional power and data below the flooring, so it’s ready to accommodate increased occupation levels. The meeting room has been specifically designed so it can be simply divided if an occupier requires smaller meeting spaces, and to make this possible we have reconfigured the M&E and installed crittall style glazed doors to divide the meeting rooms.
The excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail we can be observed right from the entrance. The Herringbone European Oak plank flooring that our team laid throughout the space complements the bespoke fitted storage wall. The use of matt lacquered birch ply to the store wall and tea point combined with an earthy colour palette creates a sense of calm within the space. And careful selection of materials gives the space a fresh, modern, and natural feel with a subtle nod to a retro era. With the addition of the crittall style glazed partitioning to meeting rooms and phone booth completing this look.
The design of this plug and play scheme was completed by plenty of biophilia which makes the new office welcoming and a great wellbeing space to work in.
