The transformation: how we did it

We started with the strip-out works on all the three floors, managing to retain existing features such as the 3rd and 5th floor ceiling tiles and the floor slabs on the 2nd floor, which were professionally cleaned to give them a new lease of life. In addition to these works, the brief included:

  • Exposed M&E ceilings
To align with contemporary design aesthetics, we installed exposed mechanical and electrical (M&E) ceilings. This approach not only enhanced the industrial-modern appeal of the space but also provided improved access for ongoing maintenance and flexibility in future modifications.
  • Upgraded LED lighting
LED lighting was integrated throughout the floors. The new fixtures provide greater energy efficiency, enhanced illumination, and a clean, streamlined appearance, contributing to a bright and professional office environment.
  • Glazed partitioning
New glazed partitions were installed on the 5th floor to subtly divide areas while maintaining an open, collaborative feel. This solution maximizes natural light flow and creates a sense of transparency and openness in the workspace.
  • Carpet installation and fresh décor
High-quality carpet tiles were fitted across the 5th floor to offer comfort and acoustic benefits. We decorated throughout and installed a small tea point on the same floor.

The new space

The completed three-floor CAT A scheme was a straightforward project delivered in just 12 weeks. The refurbishment of the 2nd and 3rd floors created two blank canvas spaces with exposed M&E ceilings and polished floor slabs that also benefit from an abundance of natural light. The fifth floor had a soft fit-out that formed new small office/meeting rooms, a tea point installation and newly carpeted floor.
